At the Tokachi Beer Company, we craft a diverse range of craft beers using Hokkaido-grown agricultural products and water sourced from the Mountain of Daisetsu. Our quality has been recognized by the government, and we have received numerous awards at Japan's largest beer competition, including the Japan Beer Grand Prix.
Small-scale breweries, often referred to as "craft breweries," face a significant challenge in securing the necessary equipment and expertise for malt production, the process of converting barley into malt. This makes it difficult for them to use locally sourced ingredients. However, through several years of research, Tokachi Beer Company has successfully established in-house malt production, allowing us to actively incorporate locally sourced ingredients.
Our restaurant, the "Daisetsuzan Beer Hall," is located within the "Kuraimu," a collection of historic warehouses that have a history spanning over a century. These warehouses are designated as cultural heritage sites. Inside the modern and welcoming atmosphere of our restaurant, you can savor our original craft beers and a diverse array of dishes that complement our beers, all featuring locally produced specialties.
